A cozy and inviting evening with both food and community. First, you enjoy a delicious healthy meal prepared by dedicated local volunteers who prioritize sustainable and environmentally friendly ingredients.
Afterward, the association Liv I Sundby presents a fascinating lecture where Ingrid Slott shares the story of her family during World War II. Her home in Brønshøj served as a vital sanctuary for both resistance fighters and persecuted Jews. Her father joined the resistance as early as 1942, while her mother ran a home that offered shelter and food to people fleeing or in need. Ingrid, even as a child, was entrusted with secrets she had to keep to herself, and she contributed in the way she could to her family's important work.
