Felt Luna Bag – Wet Felting Workshop

Learn the art of making your own bag through wet felting over two intensive days. Using water, soap, and carded wool, you'll create a beautiful and functional handcrafted piece. You'll receive comprehensive introduction to the felting process, including carding, working with a mold, and working with various wool types.

Day 1: Carding wool, selecting fleece for the bag's front side, and felting the handle.

Day 2: Building up wool for the bag itself and felting. You'll have the opportunity to add sailor rings to the handle if desired and potentially sew the handle on.

The workshop is arranged by Hedestrik, which works with Nordic wool as a sustainable alternative to commercial yarn and knitting markets. Throughout the course, you'll gain knowledge about wool types and climate perspectives in wool production. A shared lunch is served mid-day – feel free to bring your own packed lunch.
