Felt a Vest in Danish Wool

Over two intensive days (14th and 15th November), you'll have the opportunity to create your own felted vest from scratch. You'll learn about wool quality, wet felting and the design process – from making a template to carding and laying out the wool through to the final felting.

Along the way, you decide the vest's look yourself: should it have a hood, be wrap-around, feature curled details or a pattern? All according to your wishes. All materials are included in the price.

Hedestrik focuses on local Danish wool – byproducts from Nordic sheep farmers – and aims to share knowledge about woolcraft and sustainability as a counterpoint to industrialized yarn production. The workshop runs from 10–16, with a shared lunch break – feel free to bring a packed lunch.
