Author Visit with Jacinta Madsen

An engaging story reading and creative workshop for young children. Through the story of Little Tree, children explore nature's shapes and the world around them.

In the workshop, children work with colored pencils, soil, forest leaves, and other natural materials. They create nature collages by combining flowers, soil, leaves, and their own drawings—experiencing how new ideas and artistic expression can emerge when nature becomes part of the creative process. At the same time, children have the opportunity to master both a literary and artistic experience with nature in their hands.

The event takes place at Solvang Library and is free with registration. The target audience is children aged 3–5 years with adults.
