Meet author Nanna Holm at an intimate event where she shares insights into her debut novel »Red Gate« – an acclaimed work about communities, ideals, and how childhood shapes us throughout life.
The novel unfolds between past and present, centered on the leisure collective »Red Gate« on Langeland in the 1980s. A place where dreams of freedom and alternative living flourished, but shadow sides also existed. We encounter three childhood friends – Mona, Gry, and Aske – as adults, attempting to understand a pivotal summer that came to define their lives.
Nanna Holm writes with psychological depth and artistic confidence about love, betrayal, memory, and ideals that both shape and haunt us. Cultural journalist Karen Secher (from the P1 program »Parnasset«) interviews the author, with opportunity for dialogue and discussion about the work.
