Develop your ceramic skills on this 10-week course for advanced participants. You work thematically and project-based to develop stronger techniques and a more coherent artistic direction. The course requires you to have completed a basic ceramic course and wish to deepen and challenge your practice further.
Each class is built around an overarching creative theme — including botanical forms, architectural elements, or abstract design — which you interpret in your own work. You prepare inspiration material such as sketches, photographs, found objects, and moodboards before each session, strengthening your ability to work independently and purposefully. Throughout the course, you learn advanced techniques such as making plaster molds and slip casting.
Creative and sustainable approach emphasizes conscious work with materials and energy, where quality and professional development are prioritized over mass production. You receive 8 kilos of clay to work with; additional clay can be purchased (maximum 2 kilos).
