FUJ Awards and Method Presentations

Experience a day dedicated to investigative journalism, where 68 nominated projects are presented through talks by featured journalists. From noon to 6 p.m., speakers share their experiences with research, sourcing, documentation, and the methodological choices that were crucial to their work. They also present challenges encountered and concrete lessons other journalists can draw from.

Networking and professional exchange

The event emphasizes meetings between participants from across the country. During breaks, there is an opportunity to discuss methods and experiences directly with speakers and journalists from other media outlets and regions. The goal is to create a day where the profession learns from each other, new contacts are made, and concrete ideas are taken home.

Award ceremony in the evening

After the day's presentations, the event continues with dinner and official awards from 6:30 p.m. Four prizes are awarded: the Graver Prize for the year's most important investigative story, the Method Prize for innovative journalism, the Communication Prize for the best presented story, and the Timeliness Prize for investigative journalism on a shared news event.
