A special evening of Fireside Talks at Restaurant Babylon, where director of the National Museum and anthropologist Rane Willerslev and filmmaker and cartoonist Anders Morgenthaler explore the boundaries of human adventure and artistic provocation.
Rane Willerslev has lived an extraordinary life at the very edges — including expeditions to Siberia, where he has documented fur trapper cultures and experienced extreme situations in the taiga. Anders Morgenthaler challenges cultural and social norms through his art and humor, deliberately pushing the boundaries of what can be said and done.
Together, these two powerful voices explore what happens when one physically, artistically, and existentially seeks out borderland — where you lose solid ground and find something greater than yourself. An evening about challenging conventions and seeking the unknown.
