A creative blend of music, history and Christmas stories awaits at this unconventional story concert. It explores everything from Christmas gifts and Christmas trees to the birth of Jesus and traditions through the ages – and you'll get answers to the big questions: What is fact, what is myth? Where do the Christmas elves come from? Does Santa really exist?
Through sagas, archaeological findings, Christmas music and elf mischief, an entertaining and imaginative journey through Christmas unfolds. The performance brings children, their siblings and parents along on this bewildering and fabulous Christmas story.
Performers:
- Ida Hvid – double bass and vocals
- Jesper Løvdal – saxophone
- Majken Astrup – history and presentation
The event is supported by Valby Local Committee and takes place at Vigerslev Library in Copenhagen.
