Copenhagen Writes – Stine Pilgaard, AI Dilemmas and Open Mic

A full day filled with Danish literature, writing passion and important conversations. Copenhagen Libraries celebrates the author craft with an inspiring program where you meet your favorite authors, learn more about literature's role in our time, and pick up the pen yourself.

Today's Highlights

• 11:00–12:15: Sanne Caft and Jacob Søndergaard discuss artificial intelligence's influence on literature. What happens when AI can write texts? What do we want literature to be? An important conversation moderated by Marie Høst.
• 13:00–14:00: Stine Pilgaard invites you into her writing studio. Meet one of Denmark's most beloved authors as she shares her process, ideas and working methods in conversation with culture journalist Jeppe Bangsgaard.
• 14:15–14:45: Try writing yourself. Literature coordinator Poul-Louis Bøving Larsen leads a short, informal writing workshop without demands or expectations – just pure writing joy.
• 14:50–15:45: Open Mic: You can take the stage and read from your own texts. Sign up on the day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Between program points, you can explore the library's book collection, learn about their writing clubs and meet others with author ambitions. Find more information about Copenhagen Libraries' writing workshops and writing clubs on their website.
