After exploring the exhibition WHAT ARE YOU UP TO?, you get the chance to create street art using the stencil technique. You'll design, cut, and use your own stencils – from initial sketch to finished print on paper or tote bag. Stenciling is a powerful method, made famous by artists like Banksy, where a motif is cut out and transferred via spray or brush, allowing for repeated patterns and iconic artworks.
In the workshop, you'll learn
- Fundamentals of street art and stencil technique
- Materials and the working process
- How to design and cut your own stencils
- Using spray and brush for the finished print
Age requirement: Minimum 12 years old; adults are also welcome. Held Saturday, November 28, 1:00–2:30 PM at The Cellar, Copenhagen Museum, Stormgade 18. Price: 150 DKK incl. museum entry.
