A narrative about Mary Shelley, the author behind the iconic work Frankenstein. While most know the novel, fewer are acquainted with the story of the woman who wrote it at just 18 years old – a remarkable achievement for her time.
Lena Bjørn, who celebrates her 30-year jubilee as a storyteller in 2024, presents both Mary Shelley's life and the deeper themes in Frankenstein. It is more than a horror tale: it is a story about responsibility for what we create, and warnings about greed and unchecked ambition that seeks to exceed nature's boundaries. Questions that still resonate today.
The performance takes place at Foreningen H20. Admission: 110 DKK + possible fees.
