NÆKST is NORDHUS' platform for upcoming musicians – an intimate concert experience where you meet tomorrow's names live before they play larger venues and festivals. On November 12, Emma Lunding and Maline perform.
About the artists
Maline writes personally grounded songs about grief, care and the transition to adulthood. Her strong, expressive voice creates space for feelings that many carry with them but rarely articulate. Musically, she moves in Danish indie pop, where warm vocals and acoustic guitars meet synth layers, distorted guitars and noise – the intimate and the raw span her artistic expression.
Emma Lunding writes songs about love, loss, doubt and people you can't quite let go – all the thoughts you have but never dare speak aloud. With guitar as her steady companion, she creates vulnerable and powerful sounds that invite the audience in with presence and honesty. It is music you can cry to, sing along with and find yourself in.
