Novo Cais Trio performs in the intimate setting of Café Novum on Sluseholmen. The group has previously played at Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Nimb's Bar & Rooftop and Krudttønden, bringing Brazilian music close to the audience.
The band combines bossa nova, jazz, and Brazil's rich musical traditions – from soft, swaying melodies to the colourful energy of Tropicália. The concert features bossa nova and jazz as well as songs from Cesária Évora's repertoire, adding Cape Verdean warmth to the evening.
The experience transforms the café into a shared living room with music right up close to the audience, quality drinks, and light snacks. Entrance and welcome drink (with or without alcohol) are included in the ticket. Starts at 7pm.
