Bagsværd Weightlifting Club and Danish Weightlifting invite you to the East Senior Championship 2026. This is a prestigious competition for the country's top lifters, competing in the two-lift format across various weight classes for both men and women.

Program

Men compete in 8 weight classes: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, 95 kg, 110 kg, and +110 kg. Women compete in 8 weight classes: 49 kg, 53 kg, 57 kg, 61 kg, 69 kg, 77 kg, 86 kg, and +86 kg.

Prizes

Medals are awarded to the top three in each weight class for both men and women. Additionally, the best performance overall is recognized, as well as the best club based on a points system. The lifter of the day is determined using the Sinclair table.

Practical Information

  • Weigh-in: 08.00–09.00
  • Competition start: 10.00
  • Registration deadline: 1 November 2026
  • Entry fee: 350 DKK per athlete
  • Maximum 35 external lifters (first come, first served)
  • Open to members of clubs affiliated with Danish Weightlifting only
  • Mandatory anti-doping control
