Rahbek's salon at Vartov explores Homer's Iliad as part of the "Culture in Nature" series. Art historian and podcaster Sander Funch and other experts present the classical Greek epic and its relationship to culture and nature.
As always, the salon is characterised by engaged discussion, high academic standards and convivial social interaction. Coffee, tea, water and wine are served for networking. The programme concludes with communal singing from the folk hymnal, and the December edition features extra festive treats and Christmas songs.
The salon is followed by AGORA, a youth forum for participants under 30.
Practical info: Wednesday 9 December, 18:00–20:30. Doors open at 17:30. Vartov, Copenhagen.
