Raster celebrates its 30th anniversary with a celebration of electronic music, sound art, and audiovisual experiments. The iconic German label, founded by Olaf Bender and Frank Bretschneider in 1996, has been a driving force in experimental electronics for three decades. This evening brings together some of the label's most important artists for a night of glitch, minimalist structures, and ambitious visual works.
The Artists
- Amelie Duchow (DE) — audiovisual artist whose works fuse sound and image in subtle layers and intense electronic landscapes
- Byetone (DE) — Raster co-founder Olaf Bender's project, where minimalist electronics meet energetic, almost rebellious rhythms
- Xuri & John Cleworth (DK/International) — duo whose atmospheric soundscapes meet complex spatial compositions and captivating audiovisual performances
- Gábor Lázár (HU) — producer known for hyperdetailed digital compositions based on textures, repetition, and microvariation
Since its inception, Raster has released around 200 works and established itself as a crucial force in electronic music across genres and artistic disciplines. The last time the label visited this venue, it was a sold-out evening — be prepared for an unforgettable celebration of three decades of experimental music and audiovisual experiences.
