SKJUL is a playful contemporary circus performance where children become part of the adventure. Two energetic performers, Anna Lawaetz and Albert Ivarsson, attempt to create the coolest circus show – but everything goes wrong! Children become active co-players who must search for lost performers and objects, solve puzzles, find their way along hidden paths, and participate in a fantastic treasure hunt.
Through a blend of circus techniques, play, and improvisation, the performance invites children into a universe where most things spring from the same desire to have fun. Whether a treasure truly is hidden and whether the two performers can agree depends entirely on the children's efforts – so it will certainly not be an ordinary day.
Director Josephine Wulff Randrup and costume designer Camila Sarrazin have created a world that takes place both indoors and outdoors, where nothing is quite ordinary.
