TheaterReviewers is an innovative project for high school teachers and their students that combines theater experience with development of journalistic and digital competencies. Students will review the award-nominated drama TILL THE STARS FALL and actively contribute to cultural debate.
As a Danish teacher, you enroll your class in the project. Students explore theater reviews as a genre and produce both traditional written reviews and creative digital formats such as podcasts, videos, animations, and social media content. The best submissions are rewarded at a finale at Folketeatret with the TheaterReviewer Prize and a free theater trip for the entire class.
Mandatory Introductory Course for Teachers
On Tuesday, January 7, 2027, from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM, an introductory course is held at Folketeatret to prepare you thoroughly to guide students through the project. The course covers theater reviews as a literary genre and provides inspiration for both traditional and alternative digital presentation methods. The day concludes with shared dining and a presentation from the production's artistic team.
