Drawing instructor and author Signe Parkins introduces you to simple and inspiring techniques for drawing Danish birds. By focusing on observation and natural hand drawing, you develop both your artistic skills and your eye for detail.
Throughout the workshop, you learn to work directly with black fine-liners without preliminary pencil sketches. This approach creates immediate precision and increases your concentration – once drawn, marks cannot be erased. The small mistakes and imperfections become a natural and authentic part of your work.
You will draw Danish natural history: robin, blackbird, wren and other common birds. Drawing opens your eyes to forms and nuances that disappear in everyday life. The event is part of Copenhagen Libraries' "Crazy about Science" festival, which celebrates knowledge sharing for adults.
Practical: Materials (fine-liners, inks and drawing paper) are included in the price.
