Experience a living Ukrainian craft tradition directly from the Carpathians. The small cheese horse is far more than a beautiful handmade creation – it is a piece of authentic Ukrainian cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation among Hutsul craftspeople.
In this hands-on workshop, you will create 1–3 traditional cheese horses to take home. You will also meet Tetiana Diadechko, Ambassador of Ukrainian Cheese and Head of the Association of Cheese Producers of Ukraine, who will share the rich cheese culture behind the craft, the challenges faced by Ukrainian artisan producers, and the importance of preserving this tradition. The workshop concludes with a guided Ukrainian cheese tasting.
No previous experience is needed – only curiosity and a willingness to create.
