An afternoon dedicated to Czech playwright, dissident, and former President Václav Havel. To mark what would have been his 90th birthday, the University of Copenhagen and the Embassy of the Czech Republic celebrate the legacy of one of Europe's most influential thinkers and political leaders.

Through three panel discussions, Havel is explored as a playwright, philosopher, and politician. Scholars, writers, and public commentators reflect on central questions that preoccupied Havel and continue to challenge us today: How do we defend truth in a world shaped by ideology and misinformation? What responsibility does the individual citizen carry? What role should morality play in politics? The discussions also address academic freedom, ethics, civil society, and political accountability.
