An enchanting evening dedicated to oral storytelling and poetry. Host Hans Laurens and guests invite you into an intimate world where strangers become companions through the sharing of stories.
The evening unfolds in three parts: first, an invited author or storyteller shares their tale live, without a script. Then the stage opens to the audience – those who have signed up in advance share their own stories. Finally, anyone inspired in the moment is invited to take the floor. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience; you need only the willingness to listen, share, and be present.
The evening begins around a shared table with soup and light refreshments – a space to meet, eat, and settle into community before stories are shared. All voices are welcome. With each storyteller's permission, selected stories are preserved for the APROPOS Podcast, extending these moments of connection to listeners beyond H2O's walls.
