Lundehus Basketball is one of Denmark's fastest-growing clubs, known for creating exceptional experiences. While the sport is important, it's the strong team spirit and friendships that truly drive the club forward. The U17 Boys team is among the nation's best, featuring many players who have played together for years while welcoming newcomers into a socially cohesive and skilled group.
The squad has qualified for the Nordic Championship (Scania Cup) three consecutive years, competed in Copenhagen Invitational, and reached the playoffs. Many players attend the TeamDanmark Basketball Programme and train independently outside regular sessions. With invitations to play in the nationwide League—including matches across Jutland—plus participation in U17 Division 1, there's plenty of competitive match time. The team trains four times weekly and consists mainly of 2011 birth year players, with some 2012 and 2013 players also included. If you have the right mentality and sufficient skill, there's room for you too—come and try a free practice session.
The club offers a "Friendship Guarantee": if you haven't made at least three new friends after three training sessions, you get your money back. Fees are collected twice yearly (September and February), with financial support available if needed. Bring indoor shoes, training kit and a water bottle—the rest is covered.
