Body Acts

Body Acts is a performative exploration of the ill body's potential and constraints. Through a blend of text, dance, and light design, the performer examines how bodies that cannot produce or participate on normal terms can become spaces for resistance and public agency.

The performance transforms the theatre space into both an intimate and political room, where audience and artist meet in the tension between privacy and collective struggle. By exploring the relationship between bodily vulnerability—on stage, on the street, and at home—the performer seeks to rediscover the ill body as a force of protest.
