A cozy embroidery evening with Anna Kjær Voss, where you learn basic embroidery techniques and decorate three tablecloths with embroidered vegetables, flowers and coffee cups.
In the workshop, you will be introduced to various stitching techniques: backstitch, chain stitch, flat stitch, outline stitch, French knots and speckling stitch. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, you are welcome — what matters is your desire to learn.
Anna brings all tools and materials, so you just need to show up. As part of the workshop, you receive a printed copy of Anna's beginner's guide to take home and continue embroidering. The three tablecloths that you decorate together will subsequently be used for various events at Osramhuset.
The workshop lasts 3 hours and provides plenty of time for immersion. There are opportunities for breaks during the evening. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch; cold drinks can be purchased with mobile pay.
Anna Kjær Voss has taught embroidery and visible mending throughout Denmark for the past 5 years and has held over 100 workshops. She works with passion to preserve and promote traditional crafts such as embroidery and patching techniques.
