Club Code is a dance performance that brings the energy of House Dance culture from the club's loose, informal universe onto the structured platform of the stage. The experience explores the meeting of improvisation's freedom, the power of community, and musicality's inner logic – when all of this encounters artistic intensity and professional lighting.
The dancers, who have cultivated their art in the darkness of clubs, now take their place under the spotlight on Dansehallernes largest stage. Marie Kaae, who created both the concept and choreography, is rooted in the international underground House Dance scene and sheds light on this independent cultural form. A curated musical framework designed by Lynnée Denise, along with a panel of legendary judges, creates the setting for an improvisatory performance where independent club dancers can showcase their skill.
