The Little Ones Sing brings beloved characters from children's favorite songbook to life on the stage at Skuespilhuset. When the boy Emil falls asleep to his grandmother's lullaby, he wakes in a magical dream world where he meets the girl Liva and all the characters that Danish children have grown up with – from Ole with his new car to the baker from Nørregade, ten little cyclists, a tiny gnome, cats, hares and many other wonderful creatures.
Director Stine Schrøder Jensen crafts this vibrant and imaginative performance under Laus Høybye's musical direction. It is a delightful production full of song, adventure and the characters that have accompanied generations of children through their childhood – and of course, all the little ones get to sing along!
