Historian and museum inspector Gry Scavenius Berthelsen from the National Museum tells the story of Frøslev Camp's role during World War II and its connection to Mindelunden. From this prisoner camp, Danish prisoners were deported to German concentration camps, where many lost their lives.
Through the lecture's personal approach, you will gain insight into the fate of some deported prisoners and learn about individuals connected to both Frøslev Camp and those remembered on the Memorial Wall. An important story about Danish resistance and the victims who never returned home.
