An evening full of funk, quiz and dancing at Folkehuset Absalon. Gather your friends, your dancing shoes and the person in the group who always says "I know that one!" – and get ready for an evening that blends music quiz, live performance and dance floor in the most fun way possible.
The evening starts with a live music quiz led by the band FÅNK. Ask yourself: Do you know who will "Give Up the Funk"? Can you recognise "Le Freak" from Chic's signature sound? Or do you simply think everyone should "Play That Funky Music"? You don't need to be a music expert – you just need to feel the moment when the opening notes hit, and your body naturally starts doing something that looks like dancing.
When the quiz is over and the evening's funk oracles are found, we move the tables away. The lights go down, and the party truly begins. DJ Jakob Elkjær and DJ Hallis Placebo take over afterwards and ensure everyone "gets down on it" and "shakes their groove thing", until it no longer matters which team won. The most important thing is simply to discover how much funk can fit into one Friday.
