Rediscovered returns with an evening dedicated to Danish literary history. Learn about Dea Trier Mørch (1941–2001), one of her generation's most prominent artists and writers, whose works on women's lives, community and social change still resonate with readers today.
Through novels such as Winterchildren (1976) – which became a bestseller and was later adapted into film – Chestnut Avenue (1974) and White Lies (1995), Mørch offered insight into women's experiences across social boundaries, political engagement and the transformations of the Danish welfare state. She was also a visual artist and member of the collective Røde Mor, a central figure in 1970s leftist cultural movements. Her works are being rediscovered by new generations of readers.
