Infinitude is a dance choreography featuring six dancers and singers creating rhythmic patterns through movement and sound. The performance explores the interplay between dance, singing, and abstract rhythm as artistic expressions.
Choreographer Alma Söderberg works with layered rhythmic structures—both visual and sonic—and weaves them together with dance, singing, and reflection. The work circles around the relationship between pattern-making and emotion: the joy in a syncopation, the sorrow in a timbre, the anger in a movement, and the resistance embedded in a melody. Together, the six artists challenge the audience's perception of what dance and music can be.
The performance takes place at Dansehallerne.
