Love's heights and rage's depths meet in this new Danish drama, based on Søren R. Fauth's acclaimed life poem of the same name. The poem explores the author's emotional landscape following his divorce – from youthful romance and family life to the pain that emerges when marriage collapses.
Martin Ringmose takes the lead role as a middle-aged man in free fall, laying bare vulnerability, dark humour and self-irony. Directed by Simon Boberg, sound designed by Anton Bast and lit by Henrik Sloth's visual design, the performance is a unique voice in the debate about modern man's emotional life – an honest and moving journey through chaos and rediscovery. Watch Martin Ringmose embody "the trapped person nobody wants to be" on stage.
