What does it mean to be neurodivergent, and how do we create space for people who think and perceive differently?
Specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry Pernille Juul Darling provides an in-depth insight into neurodiversity and the possibilities it holds — both for the individual and for a society that must be able to accept and value difference. Drawing on research, clinical experience and concrete examples, she unfolds what neurodiversity entails and how, through knowledge, empathy and courage, we can create safe and inclusive frameworks.
During the lecture, you will encounter new concepts and explanations that demystify the topic and open up concrete possibilities for action. You will gain tools to better understand neurodivergent people — and the means to support them in everyday life, so they experience safety, the opportunity to thrive and the feeling of belonging on their own terms.
