Gigi, Søren Rask and Ulf Taube continue a well-established tradition with a festive New Year's Eve concert filled with country classics. What began as a one-time event has become a audience favourite, featuring sparkling music on the small stage in the cinema foyer.
The trio presents a repertoire of timeless country songs, including "Sing Me an Old Fashioned Song" and numerous Johnny Cash favourites that the audience can sing along to. Gigi provides the vocals, Søren Rask handles lead guitar and keyboard, while Ulf Taube plays rhythm guitar and harmonica. Gitte and Ulf met through Glostrup Local Radio over 30 years ago, and Søren joined the group later. They perform regularly in Glostrup and the surrounding area, and tour annually in Bornholm, where they have a dedicated fan base.
