Open Mic at Teater Play

Every Thursday throughout the year, Teater Play hosts an evening of standup comedy featuring 7-8 comedians and a host. The host's identity is revealed only once you're seated in the venue.

For over 20 years, the theatre has dedicated every Thursday evening to providing a platform for some of Denmark's best comedians to test brand new and often unfinished material in front of a live audience. Each evening's program brings together emerging talent, established names, and performers you may recognize from television. Many use Teater Play specifically to refine their jokes before major tours or one-man shows, so here you have the chance to hear future hits before anyone else.

Practical info: The bar opens one hour before showstart and remains open during the intermission. Minimum age is 15 years due to content considerations. The intimate venue holds only 90 seats, so larger groups are asked to contact the theatre at [email protected].
