Fate – a ghost story in VR

Exit Stage presents an immersive Virtual Reality experience that combines dramatic storytelling with electronic composition music. Through VR glasses, you follow a mother (Sofie Gråbøl) wandering through her empty home, revisiting memories of her son who fell in an upcoming war.

Through her fragmented and grief-stricken narrative, the story of a young man unfolds—one who fought to make the world better through activism, but was mobilized to defend European values. As the narrative unfolds, reality and supernatural elements intertwine: the mother's hope and despair, her faith and doubt. When her son haunts the empty house, a question flickers: has she truly gotten him back, or is it merely a ghost from the past?

A dark and thought-provoking experience for young people and adults about loss, war, and hope. Featuring Sofie Gråbøl, Christian Lollike, Rasmus Zwicki, and Anders Djurslev.
