Writing Workshop - Josefine Ottesen

Author Josefine Ottesen invites you to an in-depth workshop on writing fantasy. In this two-hour session, you will explore the universe and fundamental models that Ottesen herself uses in her authorship, and you will have the opportunity to practice creating your own fantastic stories.

Josefine Ottesen has created several acclaimed fantasy series including Krigeren, Det døde land, and Eventyret om fjeren og rosen, and has won the Danish Ministry of Culture's Children's Book Prize multiple times. She has also written picture books, read-aloud books, and drama for children and young people.

The workshop is built on the idea that the fantasy genre rests on the foundation of folk tales. You will learn Ottesen's method and have ample opportunities to work with texts yourself.

Bring paper and writing materials — computers are not used, as thinking is better done by hand.
