Explore the possibilities of literature and poetry through sport and the body. In this workshop, athletics and physical experiences serve as the starting point for creating literary fiction. You will investigate how sporting moments can become poetry, and how the senses and experiences of the body can become meaningful in literature.
You do not need to be sports-oriented — the most important thing is to have had some physical experience, even something as basic as throwing or kicking a ball.
Instructor: Maja Lucas, author of works including Tennisdigte (2026) and Ph.D. in literary studies.
Practical Details: The workshop lasts 2 hours and is aimed at adults. No computer is provided, so bring your own and/or paper and pen. Desk space is limited, so you will likely work with the material in your lap. A writing board can be borrowed as a base. Bring your own drinking water — there is a coffee machine on the 4th floor.
