Journalist and author Ida Ebbensgaard presents an inspiring lecture on artificial intelligence and generative AI. Drawing on her book "Ægte - a small book about artificial intelligence," she explores both the opportunities and risks of this technology and shows how we can navigate this new reality responsibly.
Ida walks through how AI can become a superpower for both solving everyday tasks and supporting our creativity. She also highlights important warnings: how misinformation, false sources, and misuse can affect society and individuals. The central question is how we can master this technology to solve some of our greatest global challenges.
In the second half of the event, Ida demonstrates practical examples of concrete tools and language models that you can begin using yourself. This lecture is part of the "Wild About Science" series at Solvang Library and is aimed at everyone who wants to learn more about AI without requiring technical background knowledge.
